Just tell the dealership you are member of Financial Plus Federal Credit Union and you want to finance your purchase with the credit union.

Borrowing for the purchase of a new or used vehicle is easy from Financial Plus Federal Credit Union. We offer you great rates and quick loan processing. In most cases, the loan can be approved and processed within an hour - you can even apply for your loan at the dealership (see below).

Auto manufacturers frequently offer incentives on certain models such as special interest rates and rebates. Check carefully before you select that special incentive interest rate; as you can see form the example above, you may be further ahead to take the rebate and finance with the credit union.

Automatic Payments

Most members take advantage of our convenient automatic loan payments. The monthly payment is automatically transferred from you savings or checking account on the due date each month. You avoid the hassle of writing and mailing a check or the problems of forgetting to make the payment on time.

Protecting Your Auto Loan

As with most other Financial Plus loan programs, you can protect your Auto Loan. Low-cost Credit Life and/or Accident and Health Insurance are available to protect your credit and most importantly, your family in the event of such a crisis.

Applying for an Auto Loan

We offer 4 convenient ways for you to apply for an Auto Loan.

Apply online … go to our Loan Application, complete the application and submit it to the credit union. Be sure to indicate “Auto Loan” for the purpose.
Apply via mail … you can download a Loan Application and print it using Adobe Acrobat - CLICK HERE . Then just complete the loan application and mail it back to the credit union. (Financial Plus Federal Credit Union, PO Box 7006, Flint, MI 48507-0006)
Apply via telephone … call the office at (810) 244-2200 or toll free (800) 748-0451 during business hours to apply for a loan.
Apply at the dealership … just tell the dealership that you are a member of Financial Plus Federal Credit Union and to finance the vehicle with the credit union. The dealership can take you’re application, get credit union approval, and complete the loan … usually in less than an hour. For list of participating dealerships, go down this page.

Consumer Tip: If you want to shop for a new or used vehicle knowing that the financing is already approved, you can apply for the auto loan before you go shopping. We pre-approve the loan and you can shop knowing the financing is already in place.

Consumer Alert

You can complete the entire loan process right at the dealership. There are 3 easy steps:

Complete the loan application at the dealership.
The dealership will fax the application to the credit union for approval (most loans are approved within 15 minutes).
The dealership completes the loan documentation.

The entire process can be completed in least than an hour and you can leave with your new vehicle or RV.
