Automatic Payments
Most members take advantage of our convenient automatic loan payments. The monthly payment is automatically transferred from you savings or checking account on the 28th of the month. You avoid the hassle of writing and mailing a check or the problems of forgetting to make the payment on time.
Protecting Your RV Loan
As with most other Financial Plus loan programs, you can protect your RV Loan. Low-cost Credit Life and/or Accident and Health Insurance are available to protect your credit and most importantly, your family in the event of such a crisis.
Applying for a Recreational Vehicle Loan
We offer 4 convenient ways for you to apply for an RV Loan.
- Apply online … go to our Loan Application, complete the application and submit it to the credit union. Be sure to indicate “RV Loan” for the purpose.
- Apply via mail … you can download a Loan Application and print it using Adobe Acrobat. Then just complete the loan application and mail it back to the credit union. (Financial Plus Federal Credit Union, PO Box 7006, Flint, MI 48507-0006).
- Apply via telephone … call the office at (810) 244-2200 or toll free (800) 748-0451 during business hours to apply for a loan.
- Apply at the dealership … just tell the dealership that you are a member of Financial Plus Federal Credit Union and to finance the vehicle with the credit union. The dealership can take you’re application, get credit union approval, and complete the loan … usually in less than an hour. For more details and a list of participating dealerships, see below.
Consumer Tip: If you want to shop for a new or used recreational vehicle knowing that the financing is already approved, you can apply for the RV loan before you go shopping. We pre-approve the loan and you can shop knowing the financing is already in place.
